MY SACHET ORNAMENTS
Were created out of my desperate need
For serenity of mind and spirit
Instead of living in fear of future unknown
Soaking myself in anger and mourning life lost
Instead of surrendering to those daily challenges
Emotionally,Financially, Mentally,and Physically
"If you must have my body, CFIDS/ME!!
you will never hold my soul in hostage"
A piece of construction paper I shaped
One thread at a time, I patiently weaved
I added sparkles from crystals and gems
Which give lights and hopes
I then sprayed them with floral accents
The aroma of nature blooms always holds
An ornament tree with copper wire branches
Proudly displayed from Spring thru Winter
These sachet ornaments carried me thru
Every thread and each bead
For the past ten years
Telling me that there's much joy in 'living'
Let no disease ever define me
