Casey's Day (word doc) 7/08

Casey Ryan Fero, of Sun Prairie died in his sleep in the early morning hours of July 4th, 2005. He was 23 years old. Casey was recently awarded his Associate Degree from MATC and was proud to have made the dean's list the last semester. Casey planned to finish a four year
degree at UW Whitewater or UW Oshkosh possibly majoring in history, his great love or sports science, a second love.

Life was looking good to Casey as he was proud of his degree and looking forward to many opportunities. He worked at Country Kitchen In Madison on Milwaukee Street and was recently made a shift manager. He liked learning all the details of how this business worked.

Most of all Casey was kind and gentle and a good person who cared about other people. His parents Pat and Bruce Fero and his sister Mykol Susan Fero and her husband Scot Ellis want people to know that Casey was loved and admired. His grandmothers Donna Fero and Margaret
Anderson loved Casey so. His uncles Jerry Romero, Bob Meracle, Dave Neupert and Dave Severson and his aunts Cheri Romero, Kerry Neupert, and Jeanne Romero- Severson and his special cousin Ethan Romero Severson will miss him. Casey's friends who knew him well will never forget his smile. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, July 7 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wisconsin Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Association, 747 Lois Drive, Sun Prairie, Wis., 53590.

And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said,
"Speak to us of Children."
And he said:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit,
not even in your dreams.

"Your children are not your own......
