"Millions Missing"

"Millions Missing" represents the millions of patients with ME/CFS who are missing out on parts of their lives, millions of dollars missing from ME/CFS research, and $20 billion dollars missing from the U.S. economy each year due to ME/CFS. MEAction is sponsoring a community-organized protest at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Washington, DC.

When: May 25, 2016

Who: Everyone is welcome!

While we want as many participants as possible to join us at the main protest in DC, Massachusetts is one of just 10 states with a HHS regional office, located in Boston. You have the unique opportunity to represent many of the ME/CFS patients too sick to attend the Washington, DC demonstration!

Holding smaller demonstrations across the world will increase press coverage and media attention. We encourage you to invite your family, friends and caregivers for support (or as your substitute). The national group will provide information and support to the organizers of the local events.

If you are interested in attending or leading a protest in Boston, please sign up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1j52gbBJCcQgvD1ELwtbimd27LJy0GqlZMy1tsY_bT_g/viewform

At this point, we have a possible leader for the Boston event who is looking for a few others to help.  Please use the Massachusetts group page on #MEAction to find out more and sign up.

If you are not a member of #MEAction you can register and join, or you can log in with Facebook to view this page.

Finally, if you can’t attend either demonstration, and have only a few “spoons” to work with, here are 10 things you can do using only one spoon!

For more information please see the #MEAction website:

We look forward to seeing you wither in Washington DC or in Boston on May 25th!
