| Leaky Gut Syndrome
Leaky Gut
Syndrome (LGS) is a disorder which allows partially digested foods, toxins and bad
bacteria to pass though the small intestine and
into the blood stream. This event compromises
the liver, the lymphatic system, and the immune response including the
endocrine system. According to an article from the Diagnostic Laboratory,
formerly known as Great Smokies, now known as Genova Diagnostics written by Jake Paul
Fratkin, OMD, (LGS) is
often the real basis for chronic fatigue syndrome and pediatric immune
deficiencies. It is believed
to be the primary cause of the following common conditions: asthma,
food allergies, chronic sinusitis, eczema, urticaria, migraine, irritable
bowel, fungal disorders, fibromyalgia, and inflammatory joint disorders
including rheumatoid arthritis. It also contributes to PMS, uterine
fibroid, and breast fibroid.
